Professeur and Canada research chairin stochastic optimization of transportation and logistics systems

Walter Rei holds the Canada Research Chair in Stochastic Optimization of Transportation and Logistics Systems. He is also a member of the Centre de recherche interuniversitaire sur les réseaux d’entreprise, la logistique et le transport (CIRRELT). His main research interests include stochastic integer programming and combinatorial optimization, and the application of these methodologies to solve planning problems arising in the context of transportation systems management.
