An industrial engineer with a PhD in Administrative Sciences, Ana María is mainly interested in the planning, design and optimization of the logistics network and distribution decisions in humanitarian logistics and healthcare contexts. Her latest work focuses on equity in distribution, as well as efficient modeling and solving approaches for the problem of transporting biomedical samples, inspired by real distribution challenges.
