Associate professor
Departement AOTI, ESG UQAM

I am interested in large-scale combinatorial optimization, machine learning to improve algorithms (branch-and-price, integral primal simplex), and the modeling of routing and scheduling problems, particularly in air transport.

Current or future research projects

  • Airline crew scheduling optimization.

  • Development of hybrid algorithms combining machine learning and column generation.

  • Design of algorithms for optimizing set partitioning problems.

Affiliations with centers or laboratories

  • Regular member of CRI²GS (Center for Research on Intelligence² in Complex System Management).

  • Member of GERAD (Operations Research and Decision Support Center).

CRI²GS research axis(es) and theme(s)

I primarily contribute to the “Decision Support in Complex Systems” axis as well as the “Data Valorization for Decision-Making” component, with a strong interest in algorithmic governance and the modeling of complex systems associated with transport and logistics.
